Perfect Chic 477 - Sweet Cheeks: Swatch & Review

Perfect Chic is an Israeli Brand, very affordable, usually I don't find shades that I like but I own a few. 

I used this polish in my last pink gradient nail art, and I loved it so much that I had to wear it on it's own. 

This is such a gorgeous dark pink - I can't even say how much I love this shade. I have no idea why it took me so long to review this one, but better late than never. 

I applied 2 layers of Perfect Chic 477 - Sweet Cheeks for full coverage, and applied a top coat by "wow cosmetics" which turned out to be not so great for long wear, so excuse the little marks. If I used my loved Seche Vite this wouldn't have happened.

מרחתי שתי שכבות של Perfect Chic 477 - Sweet Cheeks לאטימות מלאה, ומרחתי מעל טופ של "וואו" - שממש אכזב אותי. בתמונות רואים שריטות קטנות שטופ קואוט איכותי כמו "סש-ויט" שאני כה אוהבת, היה מגן מפניהן. 

מקווה שאהבתן את הלק, האם אתן מכירות דיופים לגוון הזה? אני ממש סקרנית לדעת! 

Romantic Flowers with Zoya - Andi

Zoya - Andi, is a polish that you can't go wrong with. I wanted a good quality red, because all my reds are more from the cheaper brands. I really love this one. sooooooo much! 

I applied 2 coats from this one and a top coat off coarse. 

Before the top coat I stamped a cute bouquet design from Pueen47 plate.

Zoya - Andi הוא לק שפשוט אי אפשר לטעות איתו. רציתי לק אדום באיכות טובה, כי כל הלקים האדומים שלי הם מחברות זולות יחסית. לא שאני מרמזת שהחברות הזולות פחות טובות באיכות, אבל לזויה בהחלט יש פורמולה מנצחת. אני ממש מרוצה מהבחירה בו, פשוט לק מהמם. 

מרחתי שתי שכבות לכיסוי מלא, וכמובן שמרחתי מעל טופ מייבש. 

לפני שמרחתי מייבש החתמתי את דוגמת זר הפרחים החמודה הזו מדיסקית Pueen47.  

מקווה שאהבתן את העיצוב ושיהיה לכן ערב נפלא. 

Week of Love V'day Nail Art Challenge - Day 2 - Kisses

Day 2 of the challenge :) Today's theme was kisses :) 

For kisses I knew exactly what I wanted to do when I saw the theme. I applied a black base coat, and stamped a kiss shape in different colors. I did the same thing for the 31DC with stars, and I really liked it. I think it is so easy to do and looks so impressive and beautiful. when I was walking around with this people kept asking me if I was wearing a sticker like the one's from Incoco. 

Anyway, I stamped the kiss from this stamping plate by Moyou London (it is confusing but there are two companies with the same name! I bought this before the newer one even existed!).

I used 4 different stamping polishes: KIKO 618 (pink), KIKO 619 (red), Barry M - Lilac Foil (purple), Accessoeize - Greige (coppery-pink).

Red Zebra Nails

When I saw this red zebra sweater in the blog Hoard of Trends, I had to make my own version of the red zebra print. I used Chic 289 - Obsession, which I used a couple of weeks ago in another manicure, and I love! I stamped the zebra print from DRK-A Stamping Plate, with a black Moyou stamping polish.

Nyx - Dorothy Swatch

Short post today, a quick review of Nyx - Dorothy. 

I bought this polish in Warsaw this summer, and waited for the winter to use it because it is not a summer polish at all in my opinion. 

This polish has hexa & small squared red glitter, in a black sheer base. It's not a gelly base, just sheer. For that reason I layered it over one layer of a black polish underneath. Also, it reminds me of Revlon - Scandalous. I layered a top coat on top, and it made it look a lot prettier than without. 

It's not as pretty as I thought it would be, but still a very nice polish, very vampy & wintery. If you like that kind of look, I would recommend this to you. As for me, it's nice, but it didn't blew me away.

פוסט קצר היום, עם סקירה קצרה ללק Nyx - Dorothy.

את הלק הזה רכשתי בחנות של ניקס בוורשה בטיול שלי בקיץ, וחיכיתי לחורף להשתמש בו כי זה לק חורפי ולא קיצי כלל בעיני. 

הלק מורכב מגליטרים אדומים משושים וריבועים קטנים, בבסיס שחור שקוף למדי. לא ג'לי, פשוט שקוף יחסית. לכן מרחתי אותו מעל שכבה אחת של לק שחור. הוא מאוד מזכיר לי את  Revlon - Scandalous שגם ניתן למצוא בארץ. מרחתי מעל טופ, וזה עשה הבדל לטובה ונראה יותר חלק ומבריק עם טופ. בלי טופ הוא נראה מעט גושי. 

הוא לא יפה כפי שדמיינתי שהוא יהיה, אבל עדיין זה לק נחמד. מאוד ערפדי וחורפי, למי שאוהבת את המראה אני ממליצה על הלק. לדעתי הוא נחמד, אבל לא עפתי מה שנקרא.

It's so great to be here on Jordan's blog! I've been a follower of hers for a really long time and I absolutely love her style:)

I chose to do a glitter gradient because I know it's one of her favorite looks. I started with 2 coats of Essie Skirting the Issue, then created a gradient using one of my favorite nail polishes: A-England She Walks In Beauty.

בחרתי להכין גליטר גרדיאנט כי אני יודעת שזה אחד הסגנונות האהובים שליה. התחלתי עם 2 שכבות של Essie Skirting the Issue, ואז יצרתי את הגרדיאנט עם אחד מהלקים האהובים עליי: A-England She Walks In Beauty.

I wore this simple look for a few days and enjoyed it a lot, so I decided to create a similar version using a cool-toned color comination. This time I went with 2 coats Ga-de Military Style as by base, and Ciate Locket for the gradient. On my ring finger and thumb I used one coat of NYX Gilded Glitter.

הייתי עם העיצוב הזה במשך כמה ימים ומאוד נהניתי ממנו, אז החלטתי ליצור גירסא דומה, הפעם עם צבעים קרים יותר. התחלתי עם 2 שכבות של הלק Military Style של ג'ייד, ויצרתי את הגרדיאנט בעזרת Locket של סיאטה. על הקמיצה והאגודל מרחתי שכבה אחת של Nyx Gilded Glitter.

Autumn Leaves

Yes well I know its winter, but this is a more fall design.... So what can I do? :) It takes me a while to get into the winter mood apparently. Anyway, this design I created with Sublime - Desire* that I reviewed in my latest post. I felt though it really could look interesting with a stamp or some decoration, so I added this cute pattern from Winstonia Stamping plate W119 which I have used before and I loved. I stamped it with Barry M - Gold Foil, and topped it with Seche Vite top coat. 

טוב, אני יודעת שכבר חורף וזה, במיוחד אחרי הסופ"ש האחרון, אבל יצא לי עיצוב יותר סתווי... מה אני יעשה? :). לוקח לי זמן להיכנס לאווירה היותר חורפית מסתבר, רק התרגלתי לסתיו, כשהיה לפני שבועיים עשרים ומשהו מעלות יותר. בכל מקרה, לעניינינו. לק הבסיס בעיצוב הזה הוא *Sublime - Desire אשר סקרתי בפוסט האחרון. אחרי שמרחתי אותו חשבתי שהוא יכול להראות מאוד מעניין עם החתמה או איזשהי תוספת עליו. הוספתי את החותמת הזאת מדיסקית של ווינסטוניה, W119, שהשתמשתי בה בעבר ואני ממש אוהבת.  החתמתי עם Barry M - Gold Foil, ומעל מרחתי טופ קואוט של סש-ויט.

Swatches for 2 Sublime Nail Polish

Another Review for you today! This is my first time trying Sublime Nails Polish, which is a new brand. This is actually an Israeli brand, that is hand made by the lovely Orit Troupin. I received two polishes to review for you today, so let's jump right into it. 

יש לי עוד סקירה עבורכן היום בבלוג! זוהי הפעם הראשונה שאני מנסה לקים של Sublime, שזה מותג ישראלי, יחסית חדש. הוא מיוצר ע"י אורית טרופין המקסימה, שתוכלו לקרוא ראיון איתה בבלוג שולפות ציפורניים. קיבלתי 2 לקים לסקירה היום, אז אמשיך ישירות לסקירה של הלקים הנהדרים!

The first one is called Desire. It came out as part of Sublime's first collection La-can. This red shimmer polish, has silver holographic, red, and tiny black glitters mixed in it. It looks more of a ruby-red in the bottle, but on the nails it's looks a lot more on the orange side. It's a very unique shade of red, not easy to describe but you can see it here in the pictures below. I needed to apply two coats for full coverage, and more I think would make it look a bit lumpy. All in all a very unique polish, I've never seen anything like it. 

הראשון מבין הלקים נקרא Desire. הוא יצא כחלק מהקולקציה הראשונה של המותג: La-can. זהו לק אדום שימרי, שמכיל גליטרים הולוגרפיים, אדומים ושחורים קטנים. בבקבוק הוא נראה יותר כמו אדום שהוא ממש אדום שכזה, אבל על הציפורן הוא יותר נוטה לגוונים האדום הכתומים יותר. למען האמת זהו גוון אדום דיי מיוחד לדעתי וקשה לתאר אותו במדויק. בכל אופן תוכלו להתרשם מהגוון בתמונות למטה. כדי להגיע לאטימות מלאה מרחתי 2 שכבות, ולדעתי כדאי לא למרוח יותר שכבות מזה כי ייתכן והמרקם יהפוך למעט גושי. לדעתי, הלק הזה מאוד מיוחד, במיוחד הגוון, ולא ראיתי בעבר אף לק שדומה לו. 

The second polish is called Ice-cream & Macaroons.  It is a mixture of pastel iridescent glitters in various colours, shapes & sizes, in a milky sheer base. I think it is absolutely beautiful and after trying it on a nail wheel over a few colours, I decided that I liked it best over this purple pastel base (Gade - Lilac Melody). I applied two coats of this one just to get more glitter out, but probably one coat would look good as well. 

I must admit it's my favourite out of the two, although Desire is a very good base for stamping with other colours as you'll see in my next post. 

הלק השני נקרא Ice-cream & Macaroons. זה תערובת של גליטרים פסטליים, במגוון צורות צבעים וגדלים. מה שמיוחד בהם שהם סוג של מולטיכרומים כאלה, אבל בצורה ממש ממש עדינה ויפה. כל זה עם בסיס חלבי שימרי, מה שהןפף את הגימור למבריק ויפה במיוחד. אני חושבת שזה לק פשוט מהמם ואחרי שניסיתי אותו על גלגל ציפורניים מעל כמה צבעים, החלטתי שהוא נראה הכי טוב מעל גוון סגול פסטלי (Gade - Lilac Melody). מרחתי 2 שכבות של הלק על מנת להוציא יותר גליטרים לציפורן, אבל אני מאמינה שגם שכבה אחת הייתה מספיקה.

אני חייבת להודות שזה הלק האהוב עליי מבין השניים, למרות ש- Desire היווה בסיס ממש יפה ומעניין להחתמה שתראו בפוסט הבא!

Multichrome November: Hits - Unconventional

So I decided to make November all about multi-chrome polishes! In one of the comments on the blog recently one of the readers commented that she would like to hear about my favorite multi-chrome. After I read this comment, I realized that I don't have a lot of multi\duo-chrome polishes, but even the that I do have, I didn't even try them all. So this month is going to be all about discovering my love to multi-chrome polishes. In the end, I'll write a post with my top three. 

The first one that I tries is a lovely Brazilian polish that I got in a swap, Hits - Unconventional . This is a dark pruple shimmer, that shifts into blue, red & a little bit of gold in a strong light. 

One of the greatest challenges off course is to picture these lovely polishes but I this I did with these pictures a decent job that really shown the different colors in the different angles of this polish. I had to apply 3 coats cos it's pretty sheer. And on top I applied Seche Vite top coat. The effect is not as strong as I expected it to be, but it was still noticeable ans really really special. I really really loved this one!

אז, החלטתי שנובמבר יהיה חודש שסובב לגמרי סביב לקים מולטיכרומים. לקים מולטי כרומים הם לקים שמכילים יותר מגוון אחד, ורואים את האםקט כבר בבקבוק פעמים רבות, ועל הציפורן רואים את הגוונים השונים בהתאם לתאורה וכאשר מסובבים את הציפורן והתאורה עליה משתנה (לכן גם יחסית קשה לתפוס את האפקט במצלמה). הרבה פעמים קוראים ללקים כאלו דואו-כרומים, ההבדל הוא פשוט בכמות הגוונים שיש לאותו לק. 

בכל מקרה, אחת הקוראות בחודש השאירה תגובה שהייתה רוצה לקרוא עוד פוסטים מיוחדים, כמו למשל הלקים הדואוכרומים האהובים עליי. אחרי שקראתי את התגובה חשבתי לעצמי שבאמת אין לי המון לקים מולטיכרומים, אבל גם אלו שיש לי, את רובם אפילו לא יצא לי לנסות! וזה הביא אותי להחלטה שעליי לנסות את הלקים הללו, ולגלות מחדש את האהבה שלי ללקים מולטיכרומים, ובסוף החודש לכתוב פוסט עם השלושה האהובים עליי. 

הלק בתמונות הוא לק ברזילאי שקיבלתי בהחלפה שכתבתי עליה כאן, שנקרא Hits - Unconventional. השם בהחלט הולם אותו, הוא לא קונבנציונלי כלל. הלק בצבע סגול חציל שימרי, עם גוונים נוספים של כחול, אדום, וגם זהב שרואים באור ישיר. אמנם זה קשה לתפוס את הגוונים במצלמה אבל אני חושבת שעשיתי עבודה יחסית טובה עם הלק הזה. 

הייתי צריכה למרוח 3 שכבות כדי להגיע לאטימות מלאה, הוא יחסית שקוף, ומעל מרחתי שכבה של הטופ סש-ויט. האפקט שלו לא היה חזק כמו שציפיתי שיהיה מהבקבוק, אבל הוא בהחלט היה בולט ומאוד מאוד במיוחד. ממש אהבתי את הלק הזה!

31DC2013 Day 11 - Polka dots

Hello! yesterday I didn't have time to write anything at all for my gradient look. Sorry for that! 

I'm so exited to start the second part of the challenge and make it more interesting! hooray! 

For the polka  dots nails I wanted to create this mini-mouse sort of look. I think the Idea was better in theory but the inaccurate are disturbing me.  

I used as a base the amazingggggg Inglot 331 - a lovely creamy dusty pink which I adore, and I'm going to wear it so much this fall! I applies 2 coats of this one. With a striping tape I painted half of the nail diagonally with the perfect red nail polish by KIKO 236. And with a simple white polish I painted the dots & the diagonal line. 

I think sometimes when I try to create these really cool & original designs something comes out wrong. 

I think for tomorrow's design I'll try to keep it simple! :)

31 Days Challenge 2013 Day 1 - Red Nails

Ahh so exited to write the first post for the challenge! 

Excuse me for being short, but If I'm going to post every day I'm not going to have a lot of time to write a lot (not that I'm a long post writer usually). 

So - For Red Nails - I decided to use the amazing Zoya - Blaze, 2 coats of this jelly red beauty. 

I stamped the pattern from Winstonia stamping plate - W11, with white stamping polish by Konad.
