My Current Cuticle & Hand Treatment

1. OPI Avoplex Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil : As you can see - I love this product and I use it a lot. I bought this in Boots when I was visiting the UK, but I'm sure online it is cheaper. I think oils are just the perfect product for nourishing your cuticles and skin around the nails. I try to use it on my cuticles every night before I go to bed. Also I use this before I take pictures of my nails when I want to make sure my skin looks nice and hydrated. It doesn't have any smell to it, not anything really noticable anyway. I won't but this again because I have another oil from a different brand that I want to try, but I think it's a great product.

2. Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream : This is a very popular product that I mentioned in my blog before. I've gone through two of these and this is my third tin of this butter. The lemony smell is amazing and it's a big plus. I just apply it on my cuticles, let it absorb for a few minutes and then rub it in. I buy it from eChemist.com. I love this product as well, although I don't use it as often as I used to since I stated loving the cuticle oil. My skin is just not that dry, and I don't need really intensive treatments. Also, here in Israel we had a very light winter, I remember really needing this product last year when it was colder & drier.

3. OPI Avojuice Hand & Body Lotion in Ginger Lily : I didn't even know that OPI had hand and body lotions until this product was sent to me. The First thing that I loved about this is the smell. OMG it is one of the best scents I smelled. I'm definitely going to buy this product in full size just for the smell cos it's so good! It is very light, so anyone with really dry skin shouldn't go for this product, but for me it is perfect.

4. Lush Lemon Flutter Cuticle Cream : In my last visit to a Lush store this December, I wasn't sure weather to get this product or not so I took a sample to try. I read that some girls smelled besides the lemon scent another weird side-effect smell. I can understand what they mean, it's not a bad smell, it's just, um, weird. Not just pure lemon like the burt's bees one. Other than that it's a good product, does the job, and completly absorbed in the skin. If I would have the chance to but it again I probably would.

1.  OPI Avoplex Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil - כמו שניתן לראות בתמונה, אני מאוד אוהבת את המוצר הזה ומשתמשת בו המון (הוא כבר כמעט נגמר!). קניתי את השמן הזה של OPI ברשת Boots הבריטית באחד הביקורים שלי באנגליה, אבל אני דיי בטוחה שניתן למצוא אותו בזול יותר ברשת. אני משתמשת בaמן הזה כמעט כל לילה, וכן לפני שאני מצלמת תמונות של הציפורניים. אני מוצאת שזו הדרך הכי טובה לגרום לעור להראות טוב, בתמונות ובכלל. אין לשמן הזה ריח כלשהו, לא משהו מורגש לפחות. אני לא חושבת שאקנה אותו שוב בקרוב כי יש לי שמן אחר שמחכה שאפתח אותו, אבל ייתכן שדרכנו ייפגשו שוב בעתיד.

2.  Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream - את החמאה הפופולרית הזו יצא לי להזכיר בבלוג בכמה הזדמנויות. כבר סיימתי לגמרי שתי קופסאות של המוצר וזו הקופסא השלישית שלי. הריח הלימוני שלה פשוט נהדר. אני מורחת אותה על הקיוטיקולות והעור מסביב לציפורן, נותנת לה להיספג מספר דקות ורק אח"כ מורחת ומספיגה אותה לעור. אני רוכשת אותה מהאתר eChemist.com. אני מאוד אוהבת את המוצר הזה, למרות שלאחרונה אני לא משתמשת בחמאה הרבה כמו בעבר כי אני יותר בקטע של השמנים כרגע. העור שלי לא מאוד יבש ואני לא זקוקה ללחות אינטנסיבית. וכמו שאתן יודעות, החורף השנה היה דיי בדיחה, אם אפשר לקרוא לזה חורף, וזה תרם לכך שהעור שלי לא היה כ"כ יבש. אני זוכרת שבחורף הקודם השתמשתי בחמאה הרבה יותר בגלל הקור והיובש.

3. OPI Avojuice Hand & Body Lotion in Ginger Lily - האמת שלא ידעתי של-OPI יש קרם גוף וידיים עד שקיבלתי את המוצר לסקירה. הסיבה העיקרית שהתאהבתי במוצר הזה הוא הריח. וואו יש למוצר הזה את אחד הניחוחות הכי טובים שיצא לי להתקל בהם!! אני בהחלט הולכת לרכוש אותו בגודל מלא (המוצר כאן הוא גודל מיני) כי הריח פשוט מדהים. מלבד זאת המוצר באמת טוב, למי שאין לה עור יבש בטירוף ולא תמיד בא לה קרם כבד. זה קרם קליל, שנספג במהירות ובאמת אחלה של מוצר. 

4.  Lush Lemon Flutter Cuticle Cream - בביקור האחרון שלי בלונדון ביקרתי בחנות של לאש, ולא הייתי בטוחה אם אני רוצה לרכוש את המוצר או לא. בחלק מהביקורות ברשת כתבו שלמוצר יש ריח לוואי בנוסף לריח הלימוני, בגלל זה החלטתי לקחת דוגמית מהמוצר. אני מבינה למה הכוונה, למוצר יש ריח לימוני נפלא, אבל גם ריח מוזר, לא ריח רע, פשוט מוזר. חוץ מזה, זה מוצר ממש טוב. עושה את העבודה, ונספג לחלוטין בעור (שזה חשוב!). אם אהיה בחנות לאש בעתיד, רוב הסיכויים שארכוש אותו. 

OPI - Ski Slope Sweetie: Swatch & Review

I started a new job recently, and I don't feel comfortable going with crazy design to work. I guess from know on the more "crazy" design will be for the weekends. This kind of polish is a delicate one that is totally suitable in my opinion for work. 

OPI - Ski Slope Sweetie is just amazing, I really really like it. It's quite sheer and I needed 3 coats for full covarage. Nothing bad to say about this polish. It's just perfect. 

התחלתי עבודה חדשה לאחרונה ואני לא מרגישה נוח כרגע ללכת עם עיצובים נועזים מדי. אני מניחה שהעיצובים ה"נועזים" יותר בזמן הקרוב יהיו יותר לסופ"שים. לק כמו בפוסט היו הוא עדין ומתאים מאוד לדעתי לעבודה. 

OPI - Ski Slope Sweetie פשוט מדהים. אני ממש ממש אוהבת אותו. הוא די דליל, והייתי צריכה למרוח 3 שכבות לאטימות מלאה. אין לי משהו רע לומר על הלק הזה, אפילו העמידות שלו ממש טובה. פשוט מושלם. 

OPI - Push and Shove & Black Studs

I received this product to review a while ago, and finally got around to review this one. Mainly because it is not a polish that I felt really comfortable to wear to work, so I wanted to wait for a weekend to try it.
Also, when you see so many reviews of a polish, I don't know I feel that I want to do something a bit different with it. So yeah I didn't do anything too drastic to this one but just added some black studs.

So, OPI - Push and Shove.
It's from the Gwen Stefani collection if you haven't seen it yet.
It comes along with a special mini base polish, that dries on a bit matte.
I applied 2 coats for full coverage. The formula was really nice and easy to work with and also it was easy to clean.
Then, I added just some small black studs to make it a but more interesting. And on top of the polish and the studs I applied a layer of Seche Vite.

Overall I liked it better than I thought I would, I don't like it on it's own though. It is too much in my opinion. It is very special, but I would preffer it as a triangle on black base or only on the finger nails etc.

קיבלתי את הלק הזה לסקירה לפני מספר שבועות וסוף סוף התפניתי לסקור אותו. זה לקח לי זמן מכיוון שזה לא שלא הרגשתי בנוח ללכת איתו ביום יום לעבודה, ורציתי לחכות לסוף שבוע פנוי בו אוכל לנסות אותו. בנוסף, אני יכולה להעיד שלפחות אצלי, אחרי שאני רואה כל כך הרבה סקירות של לק אחד, מתחשק לי לעשות משהו קצת שונה איתו. אז כמו שאתן רואות, לא עשיתי משהו יותר מדי מטורף איתו, פשוט הוספתי לו ניטים שחורים עגולים שאני חושבת שזה נורא נחמד ומוסיף. 

אז, OPI - Push and Shove. 

הלק הוא מקולקציית גוון סטפני שיצאה לא מזמן, במידה ולא ראיתן ניתן לראות סווצ'ים כאן. 

הוא מגיע המארז ביחד עם לק בסיס, בבקבוק מיני. הוא מתייבש די מאט, ואמור להיות מיוחד עבור לק זה. 

מרחתי 2 שכבות על מנת להגיע לאטימות מלאה. הפורמולה הייתה פשוט מעולה באופן מפתיע, מאוד נוח לעבודה ומאוד נוח לניקיון. 

לאחר מכן, הוספתי את הניטים השחורים רק כדי להפוך את המראה למעט יותר מעניין, ומעל הניטים והלק מרחתי שכבה של טופ מייבש Seche Vite. 

לסיכום, אהבתי את הלק יותר ממה שציפיתי לאהבו אותו, אני לא חושבת שאלבש אותו לבדו, הוא פשוט קצת "יותר מדי" לטעמי. הוא כן מאוד מיוחד, אבל אני אעדיף אותו למשל במשולש מעל לק שחור, או רק על האצבע המורדת, וכו'.

OPI - Where Did Suzi's Man-go? Nail Art

I'm sorry for the poor quality, but what can I do, I just couldn't find the time to take good quality pictures. 

I still wanted to share it with you. 

I used OPI - Where Did Suzi's Man-go? as a base color, and placed some studs, which were a bit to big I think. The white chevrons were stamped with Konad white stamping polish. The design is from BM-423 stamping plate. The gold glitter is Milani - 525 Gold Glitz. 

OPI Brazil Collection Minis Swatches

So in today's post I have my swatches for OPI Brazil collection polishes* that come inside the mini set of this collection, with the cutest name ever - Copacababies. So Cute ^_^. 

Let's get right in to it. 

אז בפוסט היום, סווצ'ים ללקים בקולקציית ברזיל של OPI, שבאים כחלק מהסט מיני* של הקולקצייה, עם שם כל כך חמוד - Copacababies. כל כך מתוק ^_^. 

אז קדימה... לעניינים. 

AmazON... AmazOFF, is a beautiful turquoise green, with a little bit of a shimmer that you can see in the sun. I was surprised from this color, I was expecting a dark forest green and ended up with an amazing turquoise. I love it! beautiful formula - 2 layers for full coverage, that is the case in all of the creams BTW. 

A very similar polish, a bit lighter is Wet n' Wild - Miami Spirit from the Fergie Collection. 

AmazON... AmazOFF הוא גוון ירוק-טורקיזי כהה, עם ממש מעט שימר שניתן להבחין בו בשמש. האמת שהצבע הזה הפתיע אותי כי מהסווצ'ים באינטרנט ציפיתי לירוק בקבוק כהה, וקיבלתי טורקיז יפיפה! אני ממש אוהבת אותו. הפורמולה נהדרת, 2 שכבות לכיסוי מלא - וזה אגב רלוונטי לשני הלקים הבאים גם כן. לק ממש דומה וטיפה יותר בהיר שיש לי באוסף הוא Wet n' Wild - Miami Spirit מהקולקצייה של פרגי. 

Where Did Suzi's Man-go? is an amazing orange mango color, and that was my favorite out of the four (and that is very unusual cos I'm a sucker for the turquoise shades). It is such a unique shade and I would defiantly recommend this color to everyone! I can't wait to use it in the summer\spring. 

Where Did Suzi's Man-go? הוא גוון כתום-מנגו מדהים, והוא היה האהוב עליי מבין הארבעה (וזה מאוד לא אופייני כי בד"כ הטורקיזים הם האהובים עליי). הגוון ממש מיוחד בעיניי, ולי אין משהו דומה לו באוסף. יש המון אפרסקיים, אבל זה באמת גוון ממש יפה, והייתי ממליצה לרכוש אותו. אני לא יכולה לחכות להשתמש בו בקיץ בנייל ארט! 

Kiss Me I'm Brazillian, is a nice baby pink, more on the neon-y side. This is a very nice pink, but I'm sure you probably have some dupes for this one in your collection. 

Kiss Me I'm Brazillian הוא ורוד בייבי חביב, שנוטה יותר לכיוון הניאוני הייתי אומרת. הגוון מקסים, אבל אני בטוחה שכבר יש לכן דברים דומים באוסף, אני למשל מצאתי שג'ייד Candy pink מאוד דומה, קצת פחות ניאוני אבל ממש דומה. 

Next Stop... The Bikini Zone, is my least favorite. I don't like this color, and I'll probably pass it on to a friend cos I know I won't wear it. It's a multichrome (sort of) purple shredded glitter, that's the best way I can describe it. It is very sheer I had to layer 3-4 layer (depends on how thick you apply your layers) and I didn't like this one at all! 

Next Stop... The Bikini Zone הוא הלק שהכי פחות אהבתי מבין הארבעה, וכנראה שאעביר אותו מהר מאוד לחברה כי אני יודעת שלא אשים אותו. הוא סוג של מולטיכרומי, עם גליטרים סגולים גרוסים, זו הדרך הכי טובה שמצאתי לתאר אותו. הוא מאוד דליל והייתי צריכה למרוח 3-4 שכבות לכיסוי מלא. בקיצור - לא אהבתי!

OPI - Do You Lilac It: Swatch & Design

For this nail art I used *OPI - Do You Lilac It? It's a very springy sort of color, but sometimes it's nice to go for a lighter color in the middle of the winter!
I first Swatched it on it's own for you guys to see the color. Very nice purple, nothing that we haven't seen before, but still, good color, good formula, everyone need a color like that in their collection. I have a very similar color by Sinful colors, that I used in this design.

לנייל ארט הפעם השתמשתי בלק OPI - Do You Lilac It?*. הסגול בגוון אביבי למדי, אבל לפעמים זה נחמד לשים צבע בהיר יותר סתם ככה באמצע החורף! 

עשיתי סווץ' של הצבע לבדו כדי שתוכלו להתרשם מהצבע. הגוון הסגול מאוד נחמד, לא משהו שלא ראינו בעבר, אבל עדיין, גוון יפה, פורמולה מצויינת, וזה צבע שכל אחת צריכה באוסף הלקים שלה. יש לי לק מאוד דומה של sinful colors  שהשתמשתי בו בעיצוב הזה. 

For the design I left the thumb & the index finger plain. On the middle finger nail I applied a holographic purple by Pupa. On the ring finger I applied one coat of the Barry M - Diamond Glitter, that has hexagon & tiny silver holo glitter. And on the pinky, I stamped a nice little butterfly design with Orly Wild Wisteria.

לעיצוב המעניין יותר, השארתי את האגודל והאצבע כמו שהן. על האמה מרחתי לק הולוגרפי סגול של פופה. 

על הקמיצה מרחתי מעל הלק הסגול את  Barry M - Diamond Glitter שהוא גליטר הולוגרפי כסוף, עם גליטרים משושים בינוניים וקטנים. ולבסוף על הזרת החתמתי את דוגמת הפרפרים החמודים עם Orly Wild Wisteria.

About Matte Top Coat.. (And A Wintery Matte French Manicure)

I got this Matte top coat by OPI* for review, and I thought to my self - I already have the Essie - Matte about you that I bought a while ago, what could be any different about this one?. Well, It managed to surprise me because it was awesome!

First of all, The Formula - OPI Matte top coat is a lot less milky than the Essie one, and the whole formula is less thick and easier to work with. Secondly, OPI dries a lot quicker, and I mean a lot! I can't Imagine myself using Essie Matte about you again after I've tried this one by OPI. It is ten times better! 

I can't tell you anything about how long it is lasting but matte coats are not meant to extend how long the polish is lasting, they just help to create the matte finish. If I want the manicure to last long what I do id first put on a regular top coat like Seche Vite, and then after it dries I apply the matte one. That way you can get both effects - long lasting and beautifull matte finish for your polish. 

For this post's mani I created a Matte French Manicure! 

The base color I applied two coats of this cream dark burgundy purple by wow cosmetics 313. I think this is such a gorgeous color for winter and it really looks great with a matte finish. Then I applied OPI Matte top coat just on the tip. I actually did not move the brush from one side of the nail to the other, I held the brush still and turned my finger. I find it easier and less "shaky" to do a french tip this way.

כאשר קיבלתי את הטופ מאט של OPI* לסקירה,  חשבתי לעצמי - יש לי כבר טופ מאט של אסי בשם Essie - Matte about you שרכשתי בסופר פארם, עד כמה המוצר הזה כבר יכול להיות שונה ממנו?. אז מסתבר, שהמון! הוא הפתיע אותי ממש לטובה והוא פשוט אדיר! 

תחילה, אציין את הפורמולה, של OPI הרבה פחות חלבית מאשר הפורמולה של אסי, ובכלל הפורמולה הרבה יותר נוחה לעבודה. שנית, OPI מתייבש משמעותית מהר יותר מאסי, ההבדל הוא עצום. עם אסי חיכיתי יחסית הרבה זמן שיתייבש ופה באמת שתוך 5 דקות הכל היה יבש לחלוטין. אני לא מצליחה לדמיין את עצמי משתמשת שוב בטופ של אסי אחרי שניסיתי את של OPI. הוא הרבה יותר מוצלח! 

אני לא יכולה לתת חוות דעת על העמידות של הלק עם הטופ הזה כי לא בדקתי אותה, אבל למיטב הבנתי טופ מאט לא אמור להאריך עמידות כמו שחלק מטופים אחרים מבטיחים לעשות, אלא פשוט להעניק את הגימור המאט. הטיפ שלי להאריך עמידות הוא פשוט למרוח טופ רגיל, ולאחר הייבוש למרוח את הטופ מאט לגימור. ככה תקבלו את שני האפקטים - עמידות וגימור מאט! 

לפוסט הזה יצרתי מניקור פרנץ' מאט. הלק ששמתי בבסיס הוא Wow Cosmetics 313, שהוא לק קרמי בגוון סגול בורגונדי כהה. אני חושבת שזה צבע נהדר לחורף וכן שנראה מעולה עם גימור מאט, מדגיש את המראה ויוצר לוק מאוד קלאסי ויפה. אז כצפוי, מרחתי מעל על הטופ מאט של OPI. למעשה לא מרחתי את זה על ידי העברת המברשת מצד לצד, אלא השארתי את המברשת במקום וסובבתי את האצבע עצמה. אני חושבת שיותר קל ליצור ככה קו ישר ובלי רעידות. 

אז זהו להיום! מקווה שנהנתן מהפוסט ותודה שקראתן, ואני אשמח לשמוע על ההתנסות שלכן עם טופ מאט, של החברות שציינתי או אחרות (אני יודעת שיש אחד של שיק שלא הזדמן לי לנסות עדיין..)

My October Awareness Month Pink Mani

So, like every nail blog around, here is my pink mani - for October which is breast cancer awareness month.
I didn't buy any special polishes for this, from the OPI sets or anything, I just used the pinks I had at home.

So, on the pinky & ring finger, I applied 2 coats of OPI - Pussy Galore, from the bond girls collection. This is the first time I tried it and it is so pretty, I didn't even realize how gorgoeus it is.
On the middle finger & thumb I applied 2 coats of Sinful Colors - Starfish, and added 2 layers of this Lovely Glitter by Lush Lacquere that's called Pink Panther.
And last is my index finger I applied two coats of KIKO 376 (looovvveee ittt!!!) and stamped the ribbons design from Bundle Monster Plate BM321 with KIKO 618.

כמו כל בלוג ציפורניים בסביבה, הנה המניקור הורוד שלי, לכבוד אוקטובר שהוא חודש המודעות לסרטן השד. לא קניתי לקים ורודים במיוחד למניקור, כמו הסטים של OPI, אלא השתמשתי בלקים שכבר היו ברשותי. חוצמזה המניקור הוא גם לכבוד התחרות בעמוד הפייסבוק של שיק שעורכים לכבוד חודש המודעות בו מעלים עיצובים ורודים. 

פירוט העיצוב: בזרת ובקמיצה מרחתי 2 שכבות של  OPI - Pussy Galore מקולקציית bond girls. זו הפעם הראשונה שאני משתמשת בו והוא ממש מהמם ויפה, לא הבנתי עד כמה עד עכשיו. 

על האמה והאגודל מרחתי 2 שכבות של Sinful Colors - Starfish, ומעל מרחתי 2 שכבות של הגליטר המהמם הזה -Lush Lacquere -  Pink Panther. הגליטר מורכב מגליטרים ורודים שחורים ולבנים, והוא פשוט הורס!. 

ולבסוף, על האצבע מרחתי לק ורוד של קיקו מס' 376, והחתמתי מעל את דוגמת הסרטים מדיסקית של בנדל מונסטר BM321, בעזרת לק ורוד מטאלי של קיקו מס' 618.

Had to go with something a little more gentle after the last mani. It's actually a jelly sandwich, after seeing it here. I did everything as shes did, just used a different base color, but it's the same shade. 

Started with 2 coats of Gade 381 - Lilac Melody, then 2 coats of Tony Moly GS09 Shooting Star, and then one coat of OPI - Care do danse?. topped it with Poshe top coat. 

Love the result! hope you like it to :) 

הייתי חייבת לשים משהו קצת יותר רגוע אחרי המניקור הקודם. האמת שזה סדנביץ' ג'לי, שעשיתי אחרי שראיתי את הפוסט הזה. עשיתי הכל כפי שהיא עשתה, חוץ מבסיס שונה, אבל בגוון מאוד דומה. 

התחלתי עם 2 שכבות של Gade 381 - Lilac Melody, לאחר מכן 2 שכבות של Tony Moly GS09 Shooting Star  ומעל שכבה אחת של OPI - Care do danse?. מעל טופ מייבש של פושה.

Christmas Nail Art

Today I have for you a Christmas Inspired Nail Art! I'll describe finger by finger what I did here. 

On my pinky I used Orly Star Spangled with OPI pirouette my whistle on top. 

On the ring finger I used China Glaze Cranberry Splash with LAKA 163 on top - I got this glitter as a gift for my birthday and I Love it! I will have a post for it on it's own soon :).

On the middle finger I used China Glaze Cranberry Splash, and stamped with the new plate NC03 :).

For the index I use Orly again, and stamped with Bundle-Monster plate,

and on the thumb I used CG again, stamping with CHIC (local Israeli brand) with plate NC01. 

Hope you like it, I think it came out cute, and I'm in love with the LAKA glitter :) 

היום עשיתי עיצוב בהשראת הקריסמס הקרב ובא, למרות שלא כולנו חוגגים, עדיין החג הזה צבעוני ונוצץ ומעורר השראה!

השתמשתי ב - China Glaze Cranberry Splash  וב - Orly Star Spangled בבסיס, כל ציפורן לק אחר. 

בחותמות השתמשתי בלבן, ובזהב של שיק מקולקציית המטאליים. 

החתמתי את הקישוט לעץ אשוח מאחת החותמות של Bundle Monster, 

את הלבבות מדיסקית NC01, ואת העיצוב סוודר המגניייב מדיסקית NC03 החדשה של NailzCraze.

בגליטר בזרת, השתמשתי בשכבה אחת של OPI Pirouette My Whistle,
