31 Days Challenge Recap

Here are all my designs for the 31 Days Challenge 2013!
I did only one challenge before this one, the black & white challenge, but I did it in my own pace, and it was just 10 days. This was pretty intense, and I must say I'm quite proud of my self for sticking with it till the end. The first two weeks were just pure fun. Doing my nails every day? I really enjoyed it. The second half of the challenge was a bit more challenging and I could really feel the "challenge" aspect of it.
Also, it really improved my technique, because I had so little time each day to dedicate to this I had to improve. So all in all, I'm really happy I did this! Not sure I would so it again haha but definitely happy I did this!

So here are all my designs, seeing them all together like that makes me smile :) Each photo leads to the full post! I hope you enjoy this, and thanks for visiting as always

אז הנה מרוכזים בפוסט אחד כל העיצובים שלי לאתגר 31 הימים 2013! 

זאת הייתה הפעם הראשונה שעשיתי את האתגר הזה. עשיתי בעבר אתגר שחור לבן, אבל עשיתי אותו בקצב שלי, והוא נמשך 10 ימים בלבד. הפעם האתגר היה מאוד אינטנסיבי ואני מוכרחה לומר שאני דיי גאה בעצמי שהחזקתי מעמד עד הסוף. השבועיים הראשונים היו פשוט כיף טהור, לעשות עיצוב חדש כל יום? זה היה פשוט תענוג בשבילי. בחצי השני של האתגר זה היה קצת יותר מאתגר, היצירתיות כבר פחות באה בקלות, וזה בהחלט מרגיש מאתגר. 

תוצאה ממש חיובית של האתגר היא שהטכניקה שלי השתפרה באופן משמעותי. בגלל שעובדים בלחץ של זמן, כי בכל זאת כשעושים עיצוב כל יום הזמן קצוב, במיוחד כשגם צריך להעלות פוסט אח"כ, כך שלא הייתה לי ברירה אלא לעבוד בקצב מהיר יותר. אז לסיכום, אני ממש שמחה שעשיתי את זה, אני לא חושבת שאי פעם אעשה את זה שוב חח אבל אני מאוד שמחה שעמדתי בפעם הזו :).

31DC2013 Day 31 - Honor Nails You Love

My all time favorite manicure is glitter gradient! And my favorite method of doing it I learned from the talented Lucy's Stash. I love this tutorial, and I work by it every time and it works great for me. 

The polishes that I used are Inglot 331 & A-England - She Walks in Beauty. I love them both, and the A-England one is just breath taking! :) 

31DC2013 Day 30 - Inspired by a Tutorial: Waterfall

Well, you all know the waterfall manicure that was first introduces to us by The Nailasaurus.
And since the tutorial, I wanted to try this manicure. I chose Turquoise, cos I love this color and I have lots of it!

The base is - Essence 146 - That's what I mint! I applied 2 coats of this one :) Then, used the following colors: Wet n' Wild - Miami Spirit, Sinful Colors - Savage, China Glaze - Deviantly Darling & China Glaze - Too Yacht to Handle.

31DC2013 Day 28 - Inspired by a Flag

Well.... I couldn't chose a flag that I was really inspired by, I thought about maybe doing something related to pirate flags, but I don't know, I decided at the end to do something else! 

I saw the flags on NailzCraze stamping plate NC05, and I immediately felt the festiveness and wanted to do something with that. 

The polishes I used for stamping are KIKO 619, KIKO 623 & KIKO 628.

31DC2013 Day 27 - Inspired by Art

I'm in love with this painting that I came across on pinterest. I must leave a link to the artist etsy page, she's really talented! 

It took a lot less time then I thought. I started with a gradient as a base, then drew the tree, then added the dots with different colors. 

 I'm not going to elaborate on all the polishes that I used because there were a lot! You can see all the mess on the last picture.

31DC2013 Day 26 - Inspired by a Pattern

Ahh I'm way back at posting the challenge designs! So today I'm catching up and posting 3 posts! Sorry for that :) 

Anyways, I actually did the designs and time (just didn't post) and really enjoyed it. 

I must admit that for the pattern design I had no Idea what I was going to do, but after a litter browsing I found this lovely pattern that reminded me of a design in one of the Cheeky plates. I really like the result and definately going to re-create it soon! :) 

The colors that I used (from left to right; base, then stamping polish): 

Essence 138 - L.O.L, Orly - Wandering Vine, Barry M - Blueberry, Gade 378 - Midnight, MUA - Frozen Yogurt, Orly - Wild Wisteria, KIKO 236 & Barry M - Raspberry. 

The design is from Cheeky plate CH10.
