Valentines Day 2014 Nail Art : Challenge Recap

I enjoyed this challenge very much! Here is my Valentine's day nail art for 2014! :)

I think my favorite is the roses, because it looks so good with the polka dots :)
But I really enjoyed making every single one of these.

Week of Love V'day Nail Art Challenge - Day 5 - Freestyle: Pink Galaxy Nails

Last day of this short challenge that flew by so quickly! 

I had so much fun doing this! I love challenges, because they motivate you to try things that otherwise would probably take longer to try otherwise. Like today's freestyle, when I decided to do these Pink Galaxy Nails. Today's theme is actually Freestyle/Recreate Anothers. I saw these beautiful pink galaxy nail by Didoline and I knew I had to recreate these. Although it's a different tome to it, mine in more in the pink-purple side than then on the red shades. 

I used this tutorial for inspiration. I'm not going to list all the nail polish that I used because it's a lot! Lots of pink shades, a lighter purple and a darker one, even a little but of peach there. 

The small glitter are Pupa - 803 Transparent Multicolor Glitter. And for a final touch drew some stars.

Week of Love V'day Nail Art Challenge - Day 4 - Hearts

Well, this is one of those manicure that I really really liked, but I feel that the pictures don't do it any justice at all! You have to believe me it is so beautiful in reality :) 

I got the idea from here, I thought it is so cute, original and simple :) 

Let me know what you think of the heart? do you like it or do you think it looks messy? 

The base polish is Catrice - Lilactric : Amazing polish! I applied 3 coats for full coverage. 

The glitter polish that I used for the glitter gradient is Shimmer - Karen. 

The gold polish is Barry M - Gold Foil. 

And the sequins are from bornprettystore (don't forget to use my discount code 10% HNL91).

Week of Love V'day Nail Art Challenge - Day 3 - Roses

Quick post Today, for day three for the challenge: Roses. 

I decided to draw some roses, I followed this tutorial for freehand roses. 

The lighter pink color is A-England - Iseult. The pink base for the polks dots is Zoya - Lara.

Week of Love V'day Nail Art Challenge - Day 2 - Kisses

Day 2 of the challenge :) Today's theme was kisses :) 

For kisses I knew exactly what I wanted to do when I saw the theme. I applied a black base coat, and stamped a kiss shape in different colors. I did the same thing for the 31DC with stars, and I really liked it. I think it is so easy to do and looks so impressive and beautiful. when I was walking around with this people kept asking me if I was wearing a sticker like the one's from Incoco. 

Anyway, I stamped the kiss from this stamping plate by Moyou London (it is confusing but there are two companies with the same name! I bought this before the newer one even existed!).

I used 4 different stamping polishes: KIKO 618 (pink), KIKO 619 (red), Barry M - Lilac Foil (purple), Accessoeize - Greige (coppery-pink).

Week of Love V'day Nail Art Challenge - Day 1 - Heart Candy Sayings

As I mentioned, I'm doing a short challenge, 5 days, for valentines day with a lovely group of girls.
The first day theme was Heart Candy Sayings. I wasn't very creative with this one, sorry :)
I promise the next days will be more interesting :)

The stamping plate that I used is by Bundle Monster BM-425, which was perfect for the task.
Also, I topped everything with a matte top coat by OPI.

31 Days Challenge Recap

Here are all my designs for the 31 Days Challenge 2013!
I did only one challenge before this one, the black & white challenge, but I did it in my own pace, and it was just 10 days. This was pretty intense, and I must say I'm quite proud of my self for sticking with it till the end. The first two weeks were just pure fun. Doing my nails every day? I really enjoyed it. The second half of the challenge was a bit more challenging and I could really feel the "challenge" aspect of it.
Also, it really improved my technique, because I had so little time each day to dedicate to this I had to improve. So all in all, I'm really happy I did this! Not sure I would so it again haha but definitely happy I did this!

אז הנה מרוכזים בפוסט אחד כל העיצובים שלי לאתגר 31 הימים 2013! 

זאת הייתה הפעם הראשונה שעשיתי את האתגר הזה. עשיתי בעבר אתגר שחור לבן, אבל עשיתי אותו בקצב שלי, והוא נמשך 10 ימים בלבד. הפעם האתגר היה מאוד אינטנסיבי ואני מוכרחה לומר שאני דיי גאה בעצמי שהחזקתי מעמד עד הסוף. השבועיים הראשונים היו פשוט כיף טהור, לעשות עיצוב חדש כל יום? זה היה פשוט תענוג בשבילי. בחצי השני של האתגר זה היה קצת יותר מאתגר, היצירתיות כבר פחות באה בקלות, וזה בהחלט מרגיש מאתגר. 

תוצאה ממש חיובית של האתגר היא שהטכניקה שלי השתפרה באופן משמעותי. בגלל שעובדים בלחץ של זמן, כי בכל זאת כשעושים עיצוב כל יום הזמן קצוב, במיוחד כשגם צריך להעלות פוסט אח"כ, כך שלא הייתה לי ברירה אלא לעבוד בקצב מהיר יותר. אז לסיכום, אני ממש שמחה שעשיתי את זה, אני לא חושבת שאי פעם אעשה את זה שוב חח אבל אני מאוד שמחה שעמדתי בפעם הזו :). 

אז הנה כל העיצובים, לראות את כולם ביחד ככה עושה לי שמח בלב :). כל תמונה מובילה לפוסט המלא, מקווה שתהנוה ותודה שביקרתן וקראתן :).
