Week of Love V'day Nail Art Challenge - Day 5 - Freestyle: Pink Galaxy Nails

Last day of this short challenge that flew by so quickly! 

I had so much fun doing this! I love challenges, because they motivate you to try things that otherwise would probably take longer to try otherwise. Like today's freestyle, when I decided to do these Pink Galaxy Nails. Today's theme is actually Freestyle/Recreate Anothers. I saw these beautiful pink galaxy nail by Didoline and I knew I had to recreate these. Although it's a different tome to it, mine in more in the pink-purple side than then on the red shades. 

I used this tutorial for inspiration. I'm not going to list all the nail polish that I used because it's a lot! Lots of pink shades, a lighter purple and a darker one, even a little but of peach there. 

The small glitter are Pupa - 803 Transparent Multicolor Glitter. And for a final touch drew some stars.

Week of Love V'day Nail Art Challenge - Day 3 - Roses

Quick post Today, for day three for the challenge: Roses. 

I decided to draw some roses, I followed this tutorial for freehand roses. 

The lighter pink color is A-England - Iseult. The pink base for the polks dots is Zoya - Lara.

31DC2013 Day 27 - Inspired by Art

I'm in love with this painting that I came across on pinterest. I must leave a link to the artist etsy page, she's really talented! 

It took a lot less time then I thought. I started with a gradient as a base, then drew the tree, then added the dots with different colors. 

 I'm not going to elaborate on all the polishes that I used because there were a lot! You can see all the mess on the last picture.

31DC2013 Day 24 - Inspired by a Book

The book that inspired me for this manicure is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. This is a classic book and I imagine most people are familiar with it. I must give credit to the talented Tal Peleg, that did an inspired make-up by this book, which gave me the idea for this nail art. If you're not allready following her - do so!. I'm not as talented as her, and I'm not good at all the drawing nail arts, but I did my best trying to involve important elements from the story. The skyline with the start and planets, and the snake who swallowed an elephant\hat. 

For the base of this manicure I used Sinful Colors - Unicorn, I applies 2 coats for full coverage. 

The more brightened yellow within the star & planet is Essence 118 - Little miss sunrise. 

The light purple is KIKO 337, and grey polishes used in the thumb are Nyx - Dark Grey & KIKO 328. 

I used thin nail art pens that I got from ebay for the drawings.

Delicate Flower Mani

The white base is MUA All Nude. The gradient was created with Sinful Colors - Starfish & Sinful Colors - Pink Forever. On the thumb over 2 coats of Sinful Colors - Starfish I used Nitza white Striper. And... on the ring finger I painted the flowers, this is my first try! so please be gentle! :) 

I used Sinful Colors - Starfish, MUA All Nude, Rimmel Red & KIKO 346 for the leafs.

אז בכל האצבעות כבסיס מרחתי 2 שכבות של  MUA All Nude. באצבעות בהן יצרתי את הגרדיאנט השתמשתי ב - Sinful Colors - Starfish & Sinful Colors - Pink Forever. באגודל, מעל שתי שכבות של Sinful Colors - Starfish ציירתי פסים עם סטרייפר לבן של ניצה. 

ו... בקמיצה ציירתי את הפרחים! זה פעם ראשונה שאני עושה את זה אז נא להיות עדינות בתגובות :) השתמשתי ב Sinful Colors - Starfish, MUA All Nude, Rimmel Red & KIKO 346. בלק של קיקו השתמשתי על מנת לצייר את הפרחים.
