OPI - Where Did Suzi's Man-go? Nail Art

I'm sorry for the poor quality, but what can I do, I just couldn't find the time to take good quality pictures. 

I still wanted to share it with you. 

I used OPI - Where Did Suzi's Man-go? as a base color, and placed some studs, which were a bit to big I think. The white chevrons were stamped with Konad white stamping polish. The design is from BM-423 stamping plate. The gold glitter is Milani - 525 Gold Glitz. 

Comparison: A-England She Walks in Beauty VS. Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 103

A comparison post between A-England She Walks in Beauty, Compared to Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 103. I wanted to do this for a long time and finally got around to it. I thought they were a lot more a like, but applied next to each other you realize the differences.

The hexagon pink glitter look similar in both polishes, but the gold glitter are entirely different.
The A-England one is whiter, more shredded, and has a bit of a shimmer to it.
The Golden-Rose one is much more golden, more of a yellow kind of gold. I applied 2 coats for both polishes, so I think they have the same sort of thickness to them. I know the A-England one is great for a glitter gradient, of you wondered.

I can't decide which one I like better! I'm glad I have them both!

פוסט השוואה בין שני הלקים המהממים הללו -  A-England She Walks in Beauty לבין Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 103. רציתי לעשות את ההשוואה הזאת כבר זמן רב, וכעת הגיעה הזדמנות. חשבתי שהם הרבה יותר דומים אחד לשני, אבל רק כשמרחתי אותם אחד ליד השני הבנתי את ההבדלים ביניהם וזה שהם דיי שונים. 

הגליטרים המשושים הורודים בעיני זהים לחלוטין בשני הלקים, אבל הגליטר הזהב, זה עניין שונה לגמרי. 

בלק של A-England הגליטר הזהב הרבה יותר נוטה ללבן, יותר גרוס, ויש לו מעט שימר הייתי אומרת. 

בלק של גולדן רוז (שאותו ניתן למצוא בארץ בחנויות קוסמטיקה קטנות, לא נתקלתי בו עדיין ברשת כלשהי) הגליטר הזהב הרבה יותר זהוב, נוטה לצהוב. מרחתי 2 שכבות משני הלקים, כך שהם סמיכים\דלילים באותה המידה. אני יודעת שלפחות הלק של A-England עובד נהדר בגליטר גרדיאנט. 

אני לא יכולה להחליט איזה מהם אני אוהבת יותר כי הם דיי שונים! אז אני שמחה שיש לי את שניהם. 

Week of Love V'day Nail Art Challenge - Day 4 - Hearts

Well, this is one of those manicure that I really really liked, but I feel that the pictures don't do it any justice at all! You have to believe me it is so beautiful in reality :) 

I got the idea from here, I thought it is so cute, original and simple :)

The base polish is Catrice - Lilactric : Amazing polish! I applied 3 coats for full coverage. 

The glitter polish that I used for the glitter gradient is Shimmer - Karen. 

The gold polish is Barry M - Gold Foil.

KIKO Digital Collection Swatches + 2 years Anniversary Giveaway! (Ended)

A lot of glitters in the blog lately ha? ;)
So, today I have for you swatches of two polishes from KIKO Digital Emotion Collection. First of all, the name is brilliant! Especially for the polishes, that really follow that sort of theme. I didn't hear about this collection until I came across it in the KIKO shop in London, when I saw it I knew some of it had to be mine. I chose two of them that I didn't already have something similar in my collection, and that seemed unique.

הרבה גליטרים בבלוג לאחרונה? :) 

אז גם היום, יהיה פוסט הכולל לקים גליטרים, עם שניים מהלקים מקולקציית Digital Emotion של KIKO. תחילה אני חייבת לציין שהשם גאוני! במיוחד עבור הלקים, שבאמת נראים דיי "דיגיטליים" לטעמי. לא שמעתי כלל על הקולקצייה הזאת עד שנתקלתי בה בחנות של קיקו בלונדון. כשראיתי אותם ידעתי שחלק מהם יהיו חייבים לחזור איתי הבייתה. בחרתי שניים שלא היה לי משהו דומה להם כבר באוסף ושנראו לי מיוחדים. 

The first one is 441 Illusion Green. It has holo and green various tiny glitters. I adore this polish! It looks very "digital" and is justifying the collections name. I applied 3 coats to get full coverage. It will not be a good polish for gradient, cos it's with a green base, so just on it's own.

הלק הראשון הוא 441 Illusion Green. יש לו גליטרים הולוגרפיים ירוקים קטנים בכל מיני צורות (פסים, ריבועים). אני מעריצה את הלק הזה. הוא נראה כל כך "מפוקסל" וממש מצדיק את שם הקולקצייה. מרחתי 3 שכבות לאטימות מלאה. חשוב לציין שהוא לא יהיה מתאים לגרדיאנט גליטר כי הנצנצים בבסיס ירוק. 

The second one is 438 Fascinating Burgundy. It has tiny silver glitters, and pink ones, in a pink base. I really liked this one as well, but the green is so unique and just awesome. When this polish is cute but not as impressive. I applied 3 coats for full coverage.

הלק השני הוא 438 Fascinating Burgundy. מורכב מגליטרים כסופים קטנטנים וורודים, בבסיס ורוד. אני ממש מחבבת את הלק הזה גם, אבל הירוק לגמרי שבה את ליבי. הלק הזה חמוד, אבל לא מרשים כמו הירוק. מרחתי 3 שכבות לאטימות מלאה.

You can see swatches of the whole collection here. It's a very pretty collection, I regret not getting the light pink one as well, because it's similar to the green one.

Gade New Glitters (Winter 2014) - Swatches + Review

Horay! Swatches & Review for Gade Cosmetics new glitters. I know that these glitters are not something we haven't seen before, but it is the first time an Israeli company releases them, and that's pretty exiting news! Not only it is a brand that is very reachable and you can find in any drugstore, it is also very affordable.

All three polishes are very much alike, only different colors. They have tiny square glitters in a color that varies, with larger square silver holo glitters in a clear base. The color are 826 Crystal Galaxy (teal), 827 Crystal Cascade (silver) and 828 Crystal Berry (pink) which you can see in the pictures bellow. The silver one is a dupe to a polish by OPI, by I can't seem to find which one. If you remember which one, I would love if you can write the name in the comments! 

ייאיי!! סווצ'ים וסקירה לגליטרים החדשים שג'ייד הוציאו. אני יודעת שגליטרים מהסוג הזה זה לא משהו שלא ראינו בעבר, אבל זה כן משהו שהוא חדש בארץ. זאת בעצם החברה הישראלית הראשונה שמוציאה גליטרים כאלו הולוגרפיים יפים, וזה בהחלט משהו מרגש. לא רק שזה כל כך נגיש בכל סופר פארם \ ניו פארם אפשר למצוא, זה גם זול כ"כ! המחיר הרשמי של הלקים של ג'ייד הוא 50 ש"ח אבל יצא לי לראות ב - 15 ש"ח וחברות בצפון דיווחו שראו גם ב- 12 ש"ח (תמיד הכל יותר זול שם!!). הם לא הגיעו לכל הסניפים עדיין, אני מקווה שזה עניין של כמה ימים. 

שלושת הגליטרים מאוד דומים אחד לשני. יש להם גליטרים ריבועים קטנים קטנים בצבע שמשתנה, עם גליטרים ריבועים כסופים הולוגרפיים גדולים יותר, כל זה בבסיס שקוף. הצבעים הם  826 Crystal Galaxy (טורקיז), 827 Crystal Cascade (כסוף), ו -  828 Crystal Berry (ורוד), שאת כולם תוכלו לראות בתמונות למטה. הכסוף הוא דיופ ללק של OPI, אני פשוט לא מצליחה למצוא אותו משום מה. אם אתן מזהות באיזה לק מדובר, אשמח אם תוכלו לכתוב בתגובות :).

שורה תחתונה:  הלקים באיכות מאוד טובה, עמוסים בגליטרים ועם כולם הייתי צריכה למרוח שכבה אחת בלבד כדי להשיג את המראה בתמונות. אם אין לכן לקים כאלו כבר באוסף - לכו על זה. זה מחיר כ"כ נמוך ללק שעד עכשיו היינו צריכים לשלם המון כדי להשיג משהו דומה בארץ (למשל של OPI) או להתחיל למצוא איפה להזמין לקים דומים מחו"ל, שזה כמובן תמיד פחות נוח מלקנות בסופר-פארם הקרוב לבית. 

מה שכן, שלושת הגליטרים לדעתי מאוד דומים אחד לשני. כאשר מורחים אותם על צבעי בסיס שונים, בדגש על בהירים, זה מדגיש את השוני ביניהם. ניסיתי גם להסוויץ' על גלגל ציפורניים מעל צבעים כהים יותר (כמו הכחול כהה שמעליו מרחתי את הגליטר הכסוף) וההבדלים לא מאוד מורגשים. לכן, לא בהכרח הייתי קונה את כל השלושה. אלא אם כן, בא לכן ממש ובשביל מחיר כזה - לכו על זה :)

Nyx - Dorothy Swatch

Short post today, a quick review of Nyx - Dorothy. 

I bought this polish in Warsaw this summer, and waited for the winter to use it because it is not a summer polish at all in my opinion. 

This polish has hexa & small squared red glitter, in a black sheer base. It's not a gelly base, just sheer. For that reason I layered it over one layer of a black polish underneath. Also, it reminds me of Revlon - Scandalous. I layered a top coat on top, and it made it look a lot prettier than without. 

It's not as pretty as I thought it would be, but still a very nice polish, very vampy & wintery. If you like that kind of look, I would recommend this to you. As for me, it's nice, but it didn't blew me away.

פוסט קצר היום, עם סקירה קצרה ללק Nyx - Dorothy.

את הלק הזה רכשתי בחנות של ניקס בוורשה בטיול שלי בקיץ, וחיכיתי לחורף להשתמש בו כי זה לק חורפי ולא קיצי כלל בעיני. 

הלק מורכב מגליטרים אדומים משושים וריבועים קטנים, בבסיס שחור שקוף למדי. לא ג'לי, פשוט שקוף יחסית. לכן מרחתי אותו מעל שכבה אחת של לק שחור. הוא מאוד מזכיר לי את  Revlon - Scandalous שגם ניתן למצוא בארץ. מרחתי מעל טופ, וזה עשה הבדל לטובה ונראה יותר חלק ומבריק עם טופ. בלי טופ הוא נראה מעט גושי. 

הוא לא יפה כפי שדמיינתי שהוא יהיה, אבל עדיין זה לק נחמד. מאוד ערפדי וחורפי, למי שאוהבת את המראה אני ממליצה על הלק. לדעתי הוא נחמד, אבל לא עפתי מה שנקרא.

It's so great to be here on Jordan's blog! I've been a follower of hers for a really long time and I absolutely love her style:)

I chose to do a glitter gradient because I know it's one of her favorite looks. I started with 2 coats of Essie Skirting the Issue, then created a gradient using one of my favorite nail polishes: A-England She Walks In Beauty.

אני ממש שמחה שיש לי הזדמנות להתארח כאן בבלוג! אני קוראת קבועה שלה ומאוד אוהבת את הסגנון שלה :)

בחרתי להכין גליטר גרדיאנט כי אני יודעת שזה אחד הסגנונות האהובים שליה. התחלתי עם 2 שכבות של Essie Skirting the Issue, ואז יצרתי את הגרדיאנט עם אחד מהלקים האהובים עליי: A-England She Walks In Beauty.

I wore this simple look for a few days and enjoyed it a lot, so I decided to create a similar version using a cool-toned color comination. This time I went with 2 coats Ga-de Military Style as by base, and Ciate Locket for the gradient. On my ring finger and thumb I used one coat of NYX Gilded Glitter.

הייתי עם העיצוב הזה במשך כמה ימים ומאוד נהניתי ממנו, אז החלטתי ליצור גירסא דומה, הפעם עם צבעים קרים יותר. התחלתי עם 2 שכבות של הלק Military Style של ג'ייד, ויצרתי את הגרדיאנט בעזרת Locket של סיאטה. על הקמיצה והאגודל מרחתי שכבה אחת של Nyx Gilded Glitter.
